“SANGKRABURI” District is the farthest district or about 200 kilometres from the city centre of “KARNCHANABURI” Province. It has a beautiful natural resources and a long history. The populations consist of many different races living together harmoniously. The lifestyle of populations here has its own charming.
Like the subtropical region it is, 'Sangkraburi' is a beautiful town of exotic atmosphere at the border region between Thailand and Myanmar. Situated at about 520km north-west of Bangkok, it is truly a rugged countryside that takes about 7 to 8 hours by car. It is such as isolated area that even the people in Thailand have hardly ventured there.
